From Place to Experience.

We are an Italian interior and hospitality design collective dedicated to hospitality interiors, high-end residences and bespoke spaces. Every project begins by listening to the place, its genius loci and the needs of those who will use it, transforming each setting into a distinctive story. Architecture, interior design, product design and hospitality culture converge in a single design direction.

From architectural design to communal spaces, from connections with guest rooms to the study of user habits, every element helps define proportions, materials, light, function and atmosphere.

Founders

Ermanno Caroppi

ARCHITECT & INTERIOR DESIGNER

Ermanno Caroppi graduated in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano in 1997 and specialised in Design at Brunel University in London.

After working as Art Director for Fratelli Guzzini and then Caberlon Caroppi Italian Touch Architects, he founded Caroppi Romagnoli Design Collective in 2025.

With over 200 completed projects, he brings established experience in international hospitality and in developing concepts that unite vision, function and identity.

Ermanno Caroppi

ARCHITECT & INTERIOR DESIGNER

Ermanno Caroppi graduated in Architecture from Politecnico di Milano in 1997. After specialising in Design at Brunel University in London, he began a long collaboration as Art Director for Fratelli Guzzini.

In 2004 he founded Caberlon Caroppi Italian Touch Architect, before establishing Caroppi Romagnoli Design Collective in 2025, further developing his specialisation in hotel design for leading hotel groups, independent properties, boutique hotels and hospitality projects in all their forms. He now has experience of over 200 hospitality projects. In 2023 he began a new chapter in hospitality, working alongside a collective of creatives and professionals.
He brings extensive experience in international hospitality, hotel design and the development of concepts that unite vision, function and identity.

Il Salotto Ritrovato

Opened during Milan Design Week 2026, Il Salotto Ritrovato is a new Milan space created through the collaboration between Tosconova and Caroppi Romagnoli Design Collective. Conceived as both a working design atelier and a showroom, it combines luxury hospitality culture with bespoke Italian craftsmanship, offering an immersive materials laboratory featuring iconic furniture, fine finishes and fabrics.
